The mission of Helena-Joyce & Works in Progress Productions (HJ/WIPP), LLC is to develop and produce exceptional dramatic works for stage and screen, demonstrating excellence in the creation of both the ‘show’ and the ‘business.’

 

Helena-Joyce Wright- Creator/Writer/Director/Executive Producer. Leading this seasoned team of heavy-hitters is Helena-Joyce Wright, Artistic/Creative Director. Ms. Wright is an award-winning actress/singer/writer/director with numerous successful producing credits as well.  She has graced stages nationally, internationally and on Broadway and has been a driving force behind many successful projects including most recently the multi-award-winning hit series, AWKWARD BLACK GIRL.

 

Beverly Clarke-Mattox– Co-Producer/Marketing & Web Development. Is largely responsible for the strong worldwide web presence the HJ/WIPP brand enjoys. She is considered a pioneer in the fields of social media/marketing and web development. As the founder and creative director of her two agencies, 360 Digital Media and Mango Social Media, Inc., she brings her unique touch with equal intensity and passion—offering an extensive background in graphic design, print media, marketing, and social media development and project management.

Cecil Love—Co-Producer/Web Designer/Social Media. Is CEO/President of Black Lion Griot a multi-media and production company. Equally adept in front or behind the camera, Mr. Love is responsible for creating THE DIVA MOM SHOW website and partners with Ms. Wright in script development. Cecil studied digital media and sound at Art Institute of Atlanta and the United States Air Force.

 

LaRonda Morris—Senior Film Editor/Advisor for The Diva Mom under the HJ/WIPP Moniker, is the 5x Emmy Nominated Editor of such shows as Top Chef, and Project Runway, Big Brother and many more. She has also edited for America’s Top Model. Dance Moms, and Project Greenlight. She also worked on MTV’s Rules for the Road, among many others in her television career.

 

Panyin Conduah—Editor/Content Supervisor/Assist to Executive Producer. Ms. Conduah is a recent graduate of DePauw University and is quickly making her mark in New York City. She has written for Straus News, Waging Nonviolence and Examiner.com. Conduah is also apart of the Pro-TV youth program at Downtown Community Television Center where she creates short documentaries and features.

 

Kenneth Wright-Baugh—Digital Video & Sound Editor. Is a gifted young videographer who brings a keen cinematic eye and mastery of this new digital filmmaking genre. A former student of the Arts Institute of Atlanta, Ken is the youngest member of the HJ/WIPP and has played a pivotal role in bringing the vision of project. to fruition. Ken is the Founder and CEO of Krazzy Productions and specializes in music video production.
